But the menu isn’t overwhelming or full of words you can’t pronounce. Expect standard American fare, with starters like shrimp cocktail ($23) and crispy artichokes ($19). This menu is sophisticated enough for a seasoned foodie but straightforward enough for a fifth-grader’s palate.

We do not collect any personal information and we do not provide any of the information to third-party services. I like coming here with out of town family/guests. So far all my visits have been great, and service was fast and friendly.

Our seamlessly integrated culinary offering, the RH Rooftop Restaurant, highlights an ingredient-driven menu and curated selection of artisanal wines. RH Charlotte also includes an interactive design atelier offering professional design services, and a rooftop park. The company operates 68 galleries and 38 outlets in the U.S. and Canada, but the design gallery concept is bigger, grander, and more upscale than the other stores. It might seem hard to believe that you can eat a great meal atop 50,000 square feet of home furnishings, but that’s exactly what this is.
RH Opens a Glittering New Store/Restaurant/Dream Home in Charlotte
I typically get the avacado toast, its massive, and the cold brew is excellent. When you’re done, head downstairs for another look at that $3,000 leather chaise you admired on the way in. You have to admit it pairs really well with a glass of wine. In an exciting move, Restoration Hardware is now in the restaurant business. The new Restoration Hardware Gallery opened in Charlotte, and it has a restaurant on the top floor.
Regardless of the camera situation, I was excited about the food. Our waitress was friendly and very attentive. She made sure we were enjoying everything and continuously checked to make sure we didn’t need anything else. Her service was as fantastic as the atmosphere they created. The restaurant is found up a double floating staircase in an indoor-outdoor space informed by European garden design. Meanwhile, the wine bar serves up vintages from California's Napa Valley (where RH also has a restaurant).
Check out their furniture showroom, amazing chandeliers and decors. If you’re craving something with a little more pizzazz, try the shaved ribeye on charred garlic bread ($22) topped with Swiss cheese and cherry peppers. Think of it as a dressed-up cheesesteak with a silver gravy boat full of au jus. And because this is the kind of place where you come to splurge, order the truffled fries ($16) for the table. The rooftop dining room has retractable glass walls, crystal chandeliers, and banquette seating with marble tabletops. The dining room offers retractable glass walls, Japanese boxwood hedging, and a fountain in the center.
Dining at RH Rooftop Restaurant is people-watching for design junkies, with crystal chandeliers, manicured hedges, and elegant banquette seating to accompany your meal. The lineup of entrées includes a lobster roll ($28), ribeye steak ($46), and broiled salmon ($30). Each entrée is served a la carte, so if you want a side of French fries with garlic aioli ($8) or simple green salad ($8), you have to order those separately.
All told, the store is 50,000 square feet of design. Even if you don't have a sofa to shop for, you may just want to pay a visit and hang out in that rooftop garden. I wanted to go as a party of four, but it was very difficult for them to accommodate this during COVID. The first reservation I could get for four people was two months from the day I called. Instead, I went with just one friend — but still had to wait two weeks to go.
The RH burger ($18) is everything a burger should be when it’s served over a marble tabletop—two patties, sharp American cheese, pickles, onion, and Dijonnaise artfully arranged on a brioche bun. The $6 pork belly bacon upgrade makes it a $24 ($24!) burger, so you’ll want to savor it. The seamlessly integrated culinary offering, the RH Rooftop Restaurant, highlights an ingredient-driven menu and curated selection of artisanal wines.
I heard it was stunning and the food was good, so I decided to check it out. Currently, the store is open for limited hours with additional security precautions due to COVID-19.
